I’m sure you have heard it said, “life isn’t fair” so many times your head could explode. In truth it isn’t, but when you have had your fair share of lemons, you would just like to finally crawl in a hole and stay there. People come and go, leave without warning and you’re just left there to save yourself. You are such a good person, you shrink yourself and give everything you have for people and it will never be enough.
Some people have selfishness ingrained in their DNA, predisposed to treating others like garbage. Rationalizing their actions to make themselves believe their own lies. These people are sick and cannot see the consequences in their behavior. They just don’t care about anything but their own selfish desires. Also known as a narcissist, someone so vain they cannot see the forest for the trees.
You have no control over others or the way the treat you. I can promise you, you don’t want that kind of power anyway. Some people will use you and drain your energy as much as it benefits them. Just remember, your power and energy will return. The energy they stole will eventually fade, their tank will return to E.
Love yourself and the life you have been given. You are loved, you are worthy and you were put here for a much higher purpose than you realize. Bad times are sure to find you but I promise you it won’t last forever. Let your light shine even on the darkest days, it is your beacon for the right people to find you.
